Description
CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) is a thermoplastic material primarily used for hot and cold water supply piping. It is more heat-resistant than regular PVC, making it safe to use even for hot water lines.
SDR 11 (Class 1) refers to the Standard Dimension Ratio 11 — the ratio between the pipe’s outer diameter and wall thickness. A lower SDR means a thicker wall, which allows the pipe to handle higher pressure. It is manufactured as per IS 15778 standard.
1/2 inch is its diameter (size), and 5 meter is the standard length it’s available in.
